Giant NES controller made of LEGO
Not only is this 5-foot long NES controller made entirely of Lego bricks, but the thing actually works. Baron von Brunk first had the idea over the summer and spent the last few months putting this behemoth together. In that time, not only did he construct the exterior Lego shell, but he also finished the inside to include spring loaded modules for the buttons that he soldered to an actual NES circuit board.

Floppy Table, A Wonderfully Designed 3.5″ Floppy Disk Coffee Table

Floppy Table is a wonderfully designed coffee table created by the Berlin art, design and architecture duo Axel van Exeland Marian Neulant of Neulant van Exel that is made to resemble a classic 3.5″ floppy disk. Axel and Marian built the good sized table out of welded hot rolled steel and stainless steel and even added a secret compartment that can be accessed by pushing open the shutter. The Floppy Table is available to order by contacting Neulant van Exel (contact information is listed on their website).

REEBOK TO ENLIST YOUR FEET INTO ‘THE AVENGERS’ WITH NEW SHOE LINE

So not everybody can be an Avenger, but your feet can at least feel like they’ve slipped into a shoe version of Mjölnir with Reebok’s exclusive shoe line. Yes, we all want a pair of these shoes ourselves.
Since we’re in the midst of a Marvel movie frenzy, between ‘The Avengers‘ and the upcoming ‘The Amazing Spider-Man,‘ Reebok took advantage of the situation and presented their limited edition shoe line. There are several different shoes to choose from that have the same colors as Captain America, Wolverine, Spider-Man, Venom and Deadpool. Not only do each one of these shoes have the right colors for each superhero or villain, but they’ve got a cute little chain to match with it, in case you didn’t know which superhero shoe you’re wearing already.
Everybody has watched ‘The Avengers’ at this point at least once, so it’s easy to say that some will be swayed more by the Captain America or the Black Widow shoes. But then again, there’s shoes for everybody’s favorite mutant (Wolverine) so who wouldn’t want a pair of those?
Next up on the Marvel movie plate is ‘The Amazing Spider-Man.’ So if you want to get yourself into the proper web-slinger mindset then gaze at these neat shoes below and check out the rest here at /Film.

Arcade Light Switch

Like many of you, we miss being a kid as far as age is concerned. That doesn’t mean we can’t let out our inner child when it comes to new gadgets hitting the scene. Any time we come across an item that reminds us of those good old days of no responsibility, is definitely worth a second look. Today we came across an item that could be a great addition to any game room, and will definitely bring out the kid in you.
Introducing the Arcade Light Switch. Just as the name suggests, this is literally a light switch designed from arcade machine push buttons. The unit is simple to install, and replaces the original light switch just any other replacement would. The best part about these is that they come in quite a variety of different colors.
