Benoît Maubrey: Electroacoustic Sculptures

Berlin-based artist Benoît Maubrey builds spectacular monuments with recycled speakers, radios and amplifiers. Each sculpture is a perfect copy of an architectural important building, as it is the Berlin wall or the temple of Delphi. In addition to these non-mobile constructions he has founded a group of artists called “Die Audio Gruppe” that designs clothes and dresses, in which they integrate speakers in order to make it possible that the living subject is able to correspond with his environment directly.
